In August -If there are any left- Sega will drop the MSRP (Suggested retail price to $79.99) And in november, It looks like it will be cheaper than a Ps2 game at the ground breaking MSRP of $49.99!!! Get yours while you can, Sega is insuring technical support and a flat $55.00 repair price for the dreamcast hardware for 6 more years (So YES, sega will replace your dc with a re-conditioned one for 6 years from now).. Well, after much deliberation.. Rumors, and fault. Sierra officialy pulled the plug on halflife.. Of course at this point i'm past mourning.. Just another, -Gone, I don't realy care anymore.. But I swear, >:) If they pull this rubbish on Chapter 2 -Shenmue.... I'll be ready to kill the life of gaming.. Just go back to reading damn boring books... But oh well I'm still stuck with my 11 game systems anyway.. Sega make me depressed.. :(..... ;) Just kidding.. Half lifes dead though!! "Heh heh" -Thats all I can say! Horrible news.. there is a liitle nasty rumor going around at Swirlvision forums - It's REAL bad.. It appears Babages heard Halflife for the 128 bit sega Dreamcast gaming console Was reported Cancelled earlier yesterday or so.. I realy hope this is just a horrible rumor, but because ign insider has been talking about it I get the feeling that it is - R.I.P. Well today is a sad day in dc land hearing the news a while ago about stoping the production of dc...But look at It this way sega will give you a chance to try out other platforms, see what they're realy worth. give sega a chance to make tons of dreamcast games and turn your favorite system into a collector's item. You may think this is just another saturn ending...But no! It's not in any way! More than ever it's oppossite in many ways. First off the dreamcast is being stoped instead of the game's- even so that will happen in december. Secondly The saturn is a collector's item in many way's as well, Just think a dreamcast in 2005! You would have a serius collectors item. And just flat to the subject Americans worry too much! You need to sit back and play a game of soul calibur! There are still going to be at least 100+ Dreamcast game's ariving soon enough! You could never buy 250 games on one console any way. And my final word of wisdom...Sega is trying to survive. If they don't pull out of the hardware buisness and go software only the dreamcast WILL become another saturn and sega WON'T come back. Sega will continue to develop it's "Blades" as long as the dreamcast remains popular. So don't just go off and sell your system...It may be sega's last... |
